The most beneficial feature of receiving a CEREC® restoration is that it is accomplished in one visit. In addition to the benefit of a one visit restoration, there is no uncomfortable impression material to bite on or temporary to wear.
Once the doctor prepares your tooth, CEREC® 3D imagining software takes a photo of your tooth using a special camera. This helps create a digital scan of your teeth. Once designed, the model is sent over to our in-office CEREC® milling system. This process is extremely precise, ensuring that your newly placed restoration will have a fit that feels natural.
