When did you graduate from dental school and what did you do afterward?

I graduated from dental school in 2003, and I worked as an associate for many, many years. About 7 years ago, I bought a practice in Broomall, Pennsylvania.

Why did you think dentistry was a good profession for women?

I always thought dentistry was a good profession for women. I think we can make our own hours and do our own thing, but also help others.

What is your favorite part of being a dentist?

My favorite part of the job is really just helping people and getting them healthy, smiling, and happy. That's my favorite part of the job.

What do you like to do outside of work?

There are a lot of things I like to do. I like to ballroom dance, so I do that on the side. I do Latin ballroom dance. I also like to work out, so I like to spin. I like to do yoga. But my biggest love is traveling. I love traveling the world and hearing everyone else's experiences.

Which social media platforms are you active on?

I'm very active mainly on Facebook, but we're hoping to get more activity on other platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Where did you go to dental school?

I went to Temple Dental School in Philadelphia, and I was there from 1999 to 2003. I graduated with a DMD.

What was your experience before and after dental school?

Before I even went to dental school, I was an assistant at a whole bunch of offices, just volunteering and learning about dentistry. When I graduated in 2003, I pretty much worked at one practice in the city, and then eventually I worked at the practice I currently own, and I worked there for over 15 years.

What is the best aspect of your work with patients?

The best aspect is getting a patient to smile and making them comfortable. That's my favorite part, just getting them over the hump of scary dentistry.

What are you trained in?

I'm trained in Invisalign. I'm also trained in other clear aligners. I'm trained in implant surgery as well as implant restoration, and I'm pretty much trained in the normal general dentist things, too.
